Measure your space carefully. These large rugs are non-returnable. If you need help with choosing the color, try ordering a small size to try the color with your decor...you can always use the small one at your door. A rug for your dining table should be large enough to slide your chair out at the table and still stay on the rug. A rug for your sitting room should be big enough that the legs of your chair or sofa can sit on the edge of the rug.
Our braided rugs are made from Natural Jute fiber. 100% jute, no covered core, just real braid! The painted details and tight stitching are very durable and will last for many years.
We use these rugs at our front door, kitchen sink, bathroom vanity, fireplace hearth, or under a covered porch (they should not be rained and snowed on for longevity).
Cleaning Instructions:
These rugs are stain resistant and fire resistant due to the natural oils found in jute fiber . A spark from the fireplace will not leave a mark. When your rug becomes soiled you can easily clean it with a rug shampooer. Or use a soft scrubbing brush and dawn dish soap or Murphy's Oil Soap to gently scrub, then rinse clean with clear water from the shower wand or garden hose. Let the rug hang to drip dry. Do not clean in the washing machine, the agitation while the fiber is wet, will break the fibers.
