Our braided rugs are made from Natural Jute fiber. 100% jute, no covered core, just real braid! The painted details and tight stitching are very durable and will last for many years.
We use these rugs at our front door, kitchen sink, bathroom vanity, fireplace hearth, or under a covered porch (they should not be rained and snowed on for longevity).
Easy to care for... These rugs are stain resistant and fire resistant due to the natural oils found in jute fiber . A spark from the fireplace will not leave a mark. When your rug becomes soiled you can easily clean it with a rug shampooer. Or use a soft scrubbing brush and dawn dish soap or Murphy's Oil Soap to gently scrub, then rinse clean with clear water from the shower wand or garden hose. Let the rug hang to drip dry. Do not clean in the washing machine, the agitation while the fiber is wet, will break the fibers.
